Box office: October earns Rs27.75 crore nett in first week

Actor Varun Dhawan has been praised for his measured performance in director Shoojit Sircar’s October. The film got glowing reviews, and made Rs27.75 crore nett in its first week, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com.

Made at an estimated budget of Rs40 crore, October was released across 1,600 plus screens in India.

Meanwhile, Hollywood release, Rampage, made Rs18.75 crore in its first week.

Holdover release Baaghi 2 continued its good run as it made Rs10.50 crore nett in its third week, thereby taking its India business to Rs154 crore nett so far.
