After a gruelling 2-year-long shoot schedule, Vikramaditya Motwane's superhero movie, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is set to be released. Starring Harshvardhan Kapoor and Nishikant Kamat, the film will hit the screens on 25 May. The makers of the film revealed the D-day alongwith two funky posters of the film.
The posters feature a comic-art version of Kapoor's superhero, Bhavesh Joshi. The pop-funk colours, font of the title, and the splash imagery, mark a strong influence of comic books.
Motwane seems to have taken a leaf out of Hollywood's growing infatuation with Marvel and DC comics.
The first poster features Kapoor's masked superhero dressed in an all black outfit with a face-covering mask. The only thing that stands out is the red eye-mask. The character seems to be carrying an iron rod as his weapon of destruction.
The second poster is more action oriented and features a fight scene with the superhero delivering a serious blow to some villains.
Kapoor had announced a wrap of the film on Tuesday (17 April), calling it Motwane's "most ambitious script".
The film is produced by Eros International and Reliance Entertainment.
