Box office: Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani's Baaghi 2 hits Rs150-crore mark

Baaghi 2 has been running successfully in theatres for over two weeks. The action drama, starring Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani, has crossed Rs150 crore nett in its India business so far. The film, directed by Ahmed Khan, made Rs6.75 crore nett in its third weekend to help take its India total so far to Rs150.25 crore nett, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com.
Made at an estimated budget of Rs60 crore, Baaghi 2 was initially released across 3,400 screens in India. Though there have been new releases in the subsequent weeks, most prominently Varun Dhawan’s October that was released on 13 April, Baaghi 2 has continued to show steady growth at the box office.
It is a first Rs150-crore nett film for Shroff and Patani. Baaghi 2 is the second hit of the year after Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat that has amassed over Rs280 crore nett in India.
