Ishaan Khatter shadow dances to AR Rahman's 'Muqabla' in Beyond The Clouds 

Like big brother actor Shahid Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter too has learnt dancing under famed choreographer and dancer Shiamak Davar. With his first film, Majid Majidi's Beyond The Clouds, Khatter shows audiences a glimpse of what they can expect.

A short 30-second promo from the upcoming film has Khatter shadow dancing behind a makeshift curtain to AR Rahman's 'Muqabla' from Humse Hai Muqabala (1994), the Hindi version of the Tamil film Kadhalan (1994). The original song featured the legendary Prabhu Deva, dancing with the actress Nagma to a wild west backdrop.

In this sequence from the film, Khatter tries to recreate Prabhu Deva's limber movements. Two young girls sitting on the other side of the curtain are his captive audience to the impromptu dance performance. The last shot shows him pulling the trigger on himself and falling to the ground.

Oscar-winner AR Rahman has also composed the score for this film so thankfully, the music is not remixed or recreated for this production. Co-starring Malavika Mohanan, Beyond The Clouds is due to be released on 20 April.
