Anupam Kher's The Accidental Prime Minister is one of the most anticipated films this year, not just for cinephiles, but also for those interested in the Indian politics. The film is an adaptation of Sanjaya Baru's controversial book The Accidental Prime Minister: The Making and Unmaking of Manmohan Singh and Kher plays the lead role.

The first poster of the film, released last year, drew flak from the Congress party that claimed the film is funded by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.

Yesterday (11 April) evening a video of Kher shooting for the film in London made its way to social media. Early morning today (12 April) Kher shared the video on his Twitter handle himself.

“This clip was sent to me by various people. So someone captured it & posted it while I was rehearsing. It is from our shoot of #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister in UK. So instead of you finding it on various platforms I am happy to share it with you all myself,” Kher wrote.

Going by the video, Kher seems to have mastered Singh's gait.

Written by Hansal Mehta and Mayank Tewaari, The Accidental Prime Minister is directed by Vijay Gutte. The film is set to be released on 21 December.
