Salman Khan might be planning for a much needed break, but the industry has other plans. The actor, who returned to Mumbai on bail after being sentenced for 5 years by a Jodhpur court in the blackbuck poaching case, is set to turn producer of a television show.

The show will ironically (given Khan's circumstances) revolve around the lives of cops. Co-produced by Sony, the show is likely to go on air next month.

The series will be directed by the National award winning director Mahesh Limaye and will also have the contribution of Shridhar Raghavan who will head the screenplay department. Raghavan is known for Khakee (2004) and Rohan Sippy's Dum Maaro Dum (2011).

The show will reportedly revolve around the daily lives of cops; their sacrifices, and the struggles in their personal lives. Mukul Dev and Pooja Gor will be reportedly seen as members of a team of cops that will form the crux of the story.

Khan is also involved in Ramesh Taurani's Race 3, and is preparing to return to television as the host of the reality show, Dus Ka Dum.
