Actor Ravi Teja's son Mahadhan is making his acting debut in upcoming Telugu action-thriller Raja The Great, its makers announced on Wednesday, 6 September.

In a statement, it was revealed that Mahadhan will be seen playing a crucial role in the film. But they refrained from divulging much information.

A source from the film's unit told IANS that Mahadhan will be seen playing the younger version of his father.

Director Anil Ravipudi also tweeted saying, "Happy to introduce Ravi Teja's son Mahadhan in our Raja The Great. Wishing him a bright future."

Reportedly, Teja plays a blind man in the film, which is Ravi's first release in two years — it comes after the box office debacles of Kick 2 (2015) and Bengal Tiger (2015).

Raja The Great also stars Mehreen Pirzada, Prakash Raj and Radikaa Sarathkumar.
