After plenty of speculation and hype surrounding her debut, Sara Ali Khan finally chose Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath. Even as she has begun shooting, there is now another rumoured story surrounding Amrita and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter. As per a report in DeccanChronicle.com, seasoned actor Sunny Deol was keen on launching Sara and his son Karan together, but perhaps Amrtia Singh shot down the idea.

The report quoted a source as saying, “Though Amrita denied that Sunny approached her, the fact is Sunny was keen to launch Amrita’s daughter with his son. Amrita and Sunny share a strong bond ever since their first film Betaab. He never expected that she would be reluctant to launch Sara with Karan. When the extremely sensitive Sunny sensed her lack of excitement about the idea, he withdrew the offer. He didn’t give her a chance to refuse.”

It must be recalled that Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh had made their Bollywood debut together with Betaab (1983).

While Sara picked Kedarnath, with Sushant Singh Rajput as her co-actor, Deol will launch his son with Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass.
