Kajal Aggarwal, whose career graph seems to be soaring, has signed another interesting project, according to industry sources.
Talk is that the actress has been signed on to reprise Kangana Ranaut's role in the Tamil remake of Queen (2014). The film, the sources said, is to be directed by actor Ramesh Aravind.
Initial reports had said the film would be directed by actress Revathy and the dialogues would be written by actress Suhasini Mani Ratnam with Nayanthara in the titular role. Later reports said Tamannaah Bhatia had been approached for the role.
Now, however, it has emerged that the film will be directed by Ramesh Aravind in Tamil and that Kajal Aggarwal will be playing the lead.
Shooting for the film is to begin in Madurai. Some important sequences of the film are to be shot in London and Paris.
Interestingly, the film's Malayalam remake is being directed by Revathy. The Malayalam version has actress Amala Paul reprising Ranaut's role.
