The poster for Abhishek Kapoor’s film does not come across as a creative piece.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan are on a pilgrimage of love to Kedarnath. That is the essence of Abhishek Kapoor’s next film, which is based in and titled Kedarnath.
The makers unveiled the first poster of the film today. The poster looks more like a tourism pamphlet than a film poster. You see the visage of the god Shiva, the reigning deity of Kedarnath, you see the temple, you see a snow-capped peak, and you see a pilgrimage. You also see a saffron formation that could, at a glance, be mistaken for a map of Uttarakhand, the state in which Kedarnath is located.
But it is hard to understand why director Abhishek Kapoor's team came up with such a poster. Devotees of Kedarnath may cheer, but the poster is unlikely to do much to promote the film.
Kedarnath marks the Hindi film debut of Sara Ali Khan. Kapoor and Company have begun shooting in Uttarakhand.
Kedarnath is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. The temple remains shut during winter.
