Ribbon poster: Kalki Koechlin, Sumeet Vyas are happy in love

The first poster of Ribbon, starring Kalki Koechlin and Sumeet Vyas, is out and it shows the happy couple in stage one of their journey.

The teaser which was released a few days ago has the couple in the midst of an argument after receiving news of the unplanned pregnancy. The young urban couple is thrown for a loop when Koechlin’s character suddenly gets pregnant, and they have to work hard to maintain their relationship.

Ribbon is directed by Rakhee Sandilya, who has also co-written the screenplay with Rajeev Upadhyay.

The film’s tagline, ‘Life between loose ends’ helps explain the title, Ribbon. Vyas, who was last seen in Parched (2016), is also a part of the upcoming Veere Di Wedding with Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

This will be Koechlin’s fourth film of the year after Mantra, A Death In The Gunj and Jia Aur Jia.  

Ribbon is due to be released on 3 November and its first full trailer will be out next week.
