Salman Khan is all set to return to the small screen with his television show Bigg Boss. During an interaction with the media, Salman answered questions related to Hindi cinema due to his association with the industry.

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor was asked about his competition with his close friends Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar, who are also all set to appear in the TV shows TedTalks India: Nayi Soch and The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, respectively.

Salman said, “I think Shah Rukh and Akshay are amazing. Shah Rukh is a great host and so is Akshay. He has also got an amazing comic timing and is quite witty.”

“On the other hand, Shah Rukh has his own personality, his own style, swag, and charisma. I think it’s going to be quite a tough competition,” he added.

However, he was quick to add, “for them,” in a friendly dig at Shah Rukh and Akshay.

Interestingly, as far as movies are concerned, Akshay is the only star who has had a successful year at the box office. His films Jolly LLB 2 and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha had favourable results at the box office. Shah Rukh's Raees was reasonably successful, but his Jab Harry Met Sejal turned out to be a disaster.

On the other hand, Salman’s only release, Tubelight, became his first big flop after his golden period since 2010.
