The delay in the release of Padmavati has upset the release plans of a couple films.

First Vidya Balan-starrer Tumhari Sulu advanced its release date by a week and now director Umesh Shukla and T-Series have decided against competing with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati, which will hit the theatres on 1 December.

DNA newspaper quoted a source as saying, “We had announced our release date months ago. Now, suddenly they [Padmavati's makers] postpone their film by two weeks with no thought to our inconvenience. The initial response was to take them on. But then, we decided to not ruin our chances, or theirs. We will come on a different date.”

Directed by Shukla, 102 Not Out stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in leading roles. Shukla is best known for his satirical comedy,OMG: Oh My God! (2012).
