Priyanka Chopra rocks at Global Citizen Festival in New York City

Priyanka Chopra's international standing keeps going up every day. After her recent speeches as UNICEF global goodwill ambassador at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), the actress hosted the Global Citizen Festival in New York City. Dressed in a floral dress by Fausto Puglisi, the actress took the stage with a very 1960s hipster vibe.

The actress was welcomed on the stage with a very large crowd cheering for her. Sharing pictures of herself from the event on her Instagram page, Chopra wrote, "I had the best time hosting @GlobalCitizen! Proud to be a Global Citizen Ambassador. Swipe left for more from today."

The annual music festival, which began in 2012, saw a host of musicians and celebrities like Stevie Wonder, Chris Martin, Demi Lovato, actress Lupita Nyong'o and Kal Penn.

Chopra certainly seems to be enjoying her time, after the emotional and serious debates on the United Nations' stage. The festival saw a number of headlining acts from the likes of Chris Martin from the band Coldplay, Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day, and the popular band, The Chainsmokers.

Chopra was joined by pop sensations Demi Lovato, as well as actors Lupita Nyong'o, Freida Pinto, Michelle Monaghan, and New York City mayor Bill de Blasio on stage.

The actress will soon be seen in the Hollywood films A Kid Like Jake and Isn't It Romantic? in the upcoming year, as well as in the third season of her hit television series, Quantico.
