The makers of the upcoming Telugu film Gayatri have erected a 50 feet Hanuman idol to be used as part of a song, currently being shot in Tirupati. The film stars veteran actor Mohan Babu.

"The 50-feet hanuman idol will be biggest attraction of the song. Bollywood (Hindi cinema) choreographer Ganesh Acharya is composing the moves for the song, which will witness the participation of over 400 dancers and 100 junior artistes," a source from the film's unit told IANS.

The song has been sung by Shankar Mahadevan.

Mohan Babu is bankrolling the film and he is said to have spent a bomb on the song.

"He didn't mind making it a costly affair as it's a very special song in the film. He roped in the best in the business to make the song look really grand," the source said.

Over half of the film, being directed by Madan, is shot in Tirupati.
