Director Dipesh Jain is the only Indian director nominated for the award at the Busan International Film Festival.
Manoj Bajpayee's In The Shadows nominated for Kim Jiseok Award at BIFF

The 22nd Busan International Film Festival announced 10 nominees for the newly established Kim Jiseok award, which includes Dipesh Jain, director of the Manoj Bajpayee starrer, In the Shadows.
The award, named after the late deputy director of the Busan festival, is dedicated to the discovery of new Asian directors and to support Asian cinema. Jain remains the only Indian nominee in the list released by the festival.
In the Shadows (Gali Guliyaan in Hindi) stars Bajpayee as Khuddoos, a man trapped within the walls of old Delhi, even as he struggles against his own dementia. The film is a psychological thriller, that deals with the fear of a lonely man in the city.
The news certainly got Bajpayee tweeting his 'congratulations' to the director of the film.

In addition to making to the list at the festival, the film is also a part of the official selection for the Chicago International Film Festival, which begins on 1 September.
The Busan International Film Festival will be held from 12-21 October.
