The trailer and songs of David Dhawan’s Judwaa 2 have ranged from uninteresting to irritating. The film’s latest song ‘Aa Toh Sahi’ too, does not fare any better.

But the good thing is that we finally have an original song from the movie after ‘Oonchi Hai Building 2.0’ and ‘Chalti Hai Kya 9 se 12,’ which are the remixes of ‘Oonchi Hai Building’ and ‘Chalti Hai Kya Nau Se Barah,’ from the original Judwaa (1997). The 1997 film was also directed by David. Although, the makers have claimed Judwaa 2 to be a sequel, the promos suggest that it is a remake (read rip off!) instead.
‘Aa Toh Sahi’ is just a run-of-the-mill song when it comes to the video. We see two Varun Dhawans having a gala time with the leading ladies Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez on the beach. The presentation is intended to be funny and entertaining but the three of them have overdone here with regards to dance and expressions.
Meet Bros. and Neha Kakkar, who have given their voices to the track, have done a decent job and lived up to the tunes. The music, also by Meet Bros, has the right youthful flavour.
Judwaa 2 is set to be released on 29 September.
