Yash Raj Films (YRF) has announced its lineup of movies for the next 15 months.
One big YRF project, Tiger Zinda Hai, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, is set be released on 22 December 2017. The spy thriller is a sequel to Kabir Khan's Ek Tha Tiger (2012).
This will be followed by Hichki on 23 February, Rani Mukerji's comeback after the birth of her baby girl Adira.

Up next will be Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar on 3 August 2018. The film, starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, is being directed by Dibakar Banerjee. This will be the lead pair's second film together after their debut Ishaqzaade (2012).

Then, on 28 September 2018, the production house will present Sui Dhaaga – Made in India, directed by Sharat Katariya, with Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma in the lead.
Thugs Of Hindostan will be released mid-week on Diwali, 7 November 2018. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, Thugs Of Hindostan, starring Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh, is likely to end the year 2018 on a happy note for YRF.

With both Fan (2016) and Befikre (2016) failing at the box office, the production house hasn’t had a great run in the recent past with the exception of Sultan (2016), starring Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma. The bad form has continued into 2017 so far, with Meri Pyaari Bindu and Qaidi Band failing to make any mark at the box office. YRF boss Aditya Chopra must be hoping that Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai will turn the tide later this year.
