Priyanka Chopra is set to speak at the United Nations' General Assembly to be held in New York city next week. She will share her views on the issues she has witnessed on the ground during her recent tours of South Africa, Zimbabwe and Jordan as the UNICEF Global Goodwill Ambassador.

Chopra had spent the last week touring Jordan, and visting refugee camps that housed child refugees from the civil war in Syria. She concluded her tour of Jordan by meeting up with royalty - Queen Rania of Jordan. The actress also put up a picture of the queen.

I had the privilege and honor of meeting Her Majesty, @queenrania of Jordan again...this time in Amman. It is amazing to see the full extent of support that the Kingdom of Jordan has provided during the ongoing Syrian refugee crises. The numbers are staggering and overwhelming but the good work continues day after day. Queen Rania is a true inspiration. Her tireless efforts to help those in need comes straight from the heart and has always been consistent.. as a UNICEF Eminent Advocate for Children, she leads by example as is so evident by the countless programmes for children that she is involved in. She does this all with such grace and calm. The meeting and our discussions, further reiterated my commitment to to help children the world over... because every child matters, no matter where they come from. I'm looking forward to meeting her again at the United Nations General Assembly in NYC next week which we both will be speaking at. Thank you Jordan for the hospitality and I will see you again.. 🇯🇴 To support the work that @unicef is doing, please log on to www.unicef.org #MissionForChildren #ChildrenUprooted #PCInJordan

Queen Rania, who is also a UNICEF Eminent Advocate for children, will be joining the actress again at the general assembly.

The actress had earlier visited Zimbabwe and South Africa to try and raise funds for UNICEF's ventures to protect children from sexual abuse.

The meeting certainly left an impact on the actress, who wrote of the Queen, "Queen Rania is a true inspiration. Her tireless efforts to help those in need comes straight from the heart and has always been consistent.. as a UNICEF Eminent Advocate for Children, she leads by example as is so evident by the countless programmes for children that she is involved in. She does this all with such grace and calm."

Chopra also mentioned that her recent visit to these camps have only reinforced her 'commitment to help children the world over...because every child matters, no matter where they come from.'

The actress has been posting quite a few videos of aspiring child refugees from Syria who have sought asylum in Jordan. The actress even shared a sweet message from a Katrina Kaif fan on her Instagram page.
