Faster Fene starring Amey Wagh promises to be a fun ride: Watch teaser

Faster Fene is the iconic Marathi comic character created by the late well-known author Bhaskar Ramchandra Bhagwat, fondly known as B R Bhagwat. The character of Fene is still fresh in the minds of a number of people from Maharashtra. 

Now, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza Deshmukh, as producers, are ready with a film based on the character. Titled Faster Fene, it is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. Amey Wagh will be seen playing the titular character. The actor is known for his performance in the recent Marathi hit Muramba (2017). 

The first teaser of the film is out. To put it simply, it fills you with excitement and makes you await the film’s release. The video mostly features impressive visuals of the comic book character in action. Wagh’s face creatively emerges from the comics. He looks like an ideal choice for the character of Fene. The background score adds to the excitement as well. 

Sarpotdar’s last Marathi film was Classmates (2015) while his last directorial venture was this year’s Hindi film Thodi Thodi Si Manmaaniyan. He is most famous for the impressive Narbachi Wadi (2013), which was an adaptation of the popular Bengali play Shajjano Bagan by Manoj Mitra. 

Faster Fene will be released on 27 October.
