Rani Mukerji in her Hichki look: Picture

It has been three years since Rani Mukerji starred in a film, she was last seen in Pradeep Sarkar’s Mardaani (2014). The film was produced by Yash Raj Films, managed by her husband and well-known filmmaker Aditya Chopra. 

Her next, Hichki, too is produced by YRF. Shooting of the film was wrapped up in June and it currently is in the post-production stage. 

Photographer Avinash Gowariker, brother of filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, has shared a picture of the actress, taken post the publicity shoot of the film.

Sharing the picture on Instagram, he captioned it — “#PostPackUpShot with one of my all time favourites!! #RaniMukherjee after the publicity shoot of #Hichki! Can't wait to see her back in action😘 #Portrait #Framing #composition #portraiture #portrait_perfection #HumanEffect.” 

Hichki is directed by Siddharth P Malhotra (not to be confused with actor Sidharth Malhotra). He has previously directed We Are Family (2010), starring Kajol, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Rampal. 

This will be Mukerji’s first film after the birth of her baby girl Adira last year. The film is slated to be released next year.
