Fans of megastar Amitabh Bachchan are keenly awaiting his birthday on 11 October. This year, however, is special as the actor will turn 75 and news of a gala celebration was expected to arrive soon.
Unfortunately, this is far from reality. Bachchan has stated that he won’t be celebrating his birthday this year. Further, he won’t be celebrating Dilwali, either.
The actor made the announcement on his Twitter page. — “T 2571 - 75th Birthday ! Ya .. so .. ?? celebration, no celebration, going here, going there.”

The actor followed this with another tweet — “T 2571 - .... and just for your information .. no Diwali celebration this year !!”

Speculation is that the actor is refraining from any celebrations as his daughter-in-law and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father passed away this year. Also, his tweet hints that he might be busy with work.
The actor will be next seen on the big screen with Aamir Khan in Thugs Of Hindostan. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film will be released next year during Diwali.
