With Kedarnath's month long outdoor shoot in the pilgrimage town wrapped up, the makers have revealed actress Sara Ali Khan look in the film on Twitter. The photograph has Khan holding a pretty blue umbrella, dressed in a simple yellow and white Indian kurti with a green dupatta.

The director of the film Abhishek Kapoor, who is also co-producing it, said in a press release, “It’s been an incredible schedule.. exhausting and exhilarating.. shooting in the mountains is never easy, especially when it’s on a yatra [pilgrimage] and the weather changes constantly, but thankfully the mountain god has blessed our shoot and it’s wrapped as per schedule.”

Kedarnath was filmed at the Triyuginarayan and the Akhand Dhuni temple (where according to Indian mythoglogy, Lord Shiva married Parvati). The crew also shot parts of the film at the unexplored Chopta forests, located at the foothills of the Uttarakhand Himalayas, famous for views of the imposing Himalayan range including Trishul, Nanda Devi and Chaukhamba.

Producer Arjun N Kapoor of KriArj Entertainment said in the same press release, “When we first saw the Chopta forests, and their untouched beauty, we were overwhelmed with our good fortune of being able to shoot here. In more ways than one, our film resonates the same purity that we saw out there. Of course, there is Sara who debuts in our film, so somehow our locations did justice to her too.

Later, producers Balaji Motion Pictures shared another photograph of Khan with an umbrella, this time with an off-white kurti and pink dupatta.

The love story also stars Sushant Singh Rajput and is expected to be released some time next year.
