Golmaal Again song: 'Hum Nahi Sudhrenge' is too bland to gain notice

The visuals of the entire song are a riot of colour and fun, but the music is dull and does not match the mood.

The latest song,'Hum Nahi Sudhrenge', from Rohit Shetty's Diwali entertainer, Golmaal Again, finds the cast celebrating a birthday and singing about their badmaashiyaan. Composed by Amaal Malik and written by Kumaar, the song has the entire gang crooning the song amidst many children.

'Hum Nahi Sudhrenge' uses singer Armaan Malik's voice for all five actors featuring in the song. It might have been better that each one has an individual voice rather than co-opting Armaan's voice for them all.

The visuals of the entire song are a riot of colour and fun, but the music is dull and does not match the mood. Golmaal's gang of friends (Devgn, Warsi, Kemmu, Kapoor and Talpade) have seemingly formed their own boy band of aging actors

Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Kunal Kemmu, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade are joined in this film by newcomers (to the Golmaal franchise) — Parineeti Chopra and Tabu. The females join in to sing with the guys, claiming that they'll never improve, but only get worse. It all seems rather unconvincing and forced.

Golmaal Again is due to be released on 20 October, Diwali weekend.
