After Shah Rukh Khan's turn in Imtiaz Ali's Jab Harry Met Sejal, Irrfan Khan might be on his own travel romance. The latest posters from Qarib Qarib Singlle have the actor playing a romantic on a journey. Directed by Tanuja Chandra, Qarib Qarib Singlle stars Malayalam actress Parvathy and Irrfan in the lead roles.

While the makers of the film have been releasing teaser posters over the last week, the first complete posters for the film came out yesterday. The first poster shows Irrfan waving out of a taxi. Irrfan's fashion quotient has certainly gone up, with the actor sporting a stylish hipster look for Chandra's film.

The second poster from the film features both the lead characters arguing from the windows of parallel trains. The image carries some memories of the last time Irrfan took a journey across India in Shoojit Sircar's Piku (2014). The film will also mark actress Parvathy's debut in Hindi cinema.

The film has been shot across several destinations like Bikaner, Rishikesh and Gangtok to fit with the travel theme of the subject.

Speaking about the film in a statement, director Chandra said, "Qarib Qarib Singlle is a contemporary love story of two people who embark upon an unusual journey which becomes a mad adventure. I've made plenty of violent thrillers — now on to something that's slice of life and fun."

Qarib Qarib Singlle is expected to be released on 10 November.
