The actress will be shooting a major portion of the upcoming season in Italy as part of a key plot development in the series.

As her whirlwind tour of Zimbabwe, South Africa, Jordan, and New York has come to an end, Priyanka Chopra has quietly settled down to shoot for her television series, Quantico. The series, now into its 3rd season, is set to go international in scope.
Hollywood news website, TVLine, reported that the actress will be shooting a major portion of the season in Italy. The report also suggested that the actress will face off with a new antagonist who is a 'scary, brutal bad guy'. According to the report, "Priyanka Chopra will be involved in the scenes shot abroad, a source close to the show confirms. We also hear that there’ll be a really scary, brutal bad guy involved in the storyline."
The season will also be streamlined to 13 episodes in view of a growing audience, as opposed to 22 episodes in season 1 and 2 each.
Season 2 of Quantico had ended with a twist.
Writer Michael Seitzmann had recently shared a picture of the title page of the script of episode 1, titled 'The Conscience Code', of season 3 on his Twitter account.

Season 3 will also see some major plot developments including a speculated demise of president Roarke (Dennis Boutsikaris), as well as a revealation by a character close to Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra). Also, Marlee Matlin will enter the series as the ex-FBI agent Jocelyn Turner.
Chopra was recently spotted holidaying in Los Angeles with close friends Mubina Rattonsey and Yasmine Al Massri.
The actress is expected to begin shooting for the series immediately. She has two major Hollywood films A Kid Like Jake and Isn't It Romantic lined up for next year.
