A betrayal can shatter a man’s heart. What's more worrisome is the idea of revenge because of heartbreak. Rajkummar Rao’s character Satyendra is left devastated after Aarti (Kriti Kharbanda) dumps him on their wedding day. He wows to take revenge, the consequences of which are seen in the 'Mera Intkam Dekhegi' song.
Going by the visuals, Satyendra seems to be an income tax officer who leads a raid at Aarti's home.

From tearing pillows, to smashing the walls, Satyendra ransacks Aarti’s house. All she does is watch helplessly.
Rajkummar brings out the hurt and viciousness of his character impeccably. Later in the song, we see Aarti with another groom. Does this suggest that Aarti was in love with this gentleman and ran away from Satyendra to marry him?

There is much to be admired about the music and singing in 'Mera Intkam Dekhegi'. Lyricist Gaurav Krishna Bansal has penned a track that is totally is in synch with the sequences and the serious situation at hand. Even though wrath is the theme, the track comes out like fine poetry. The neat lyrics are backed by a gripping score by Anand Raaj Anand. Krishna Beruaa doesn’t have a clear voice, but emotes the pain of Satyendra brilliantly.
