Akshitha, the daughter of one of Tamil cinema's biggest stars Vikram, on Monday wed Manu Ranjit, the great grandson of DMK chief M Karunanidhi in Chennai.
The couple, who got engaged in July last year, were congratulated by friends and relatives of both families, including the DMK chief, in whose presence and with whose blessings the wedding took place.
The bridegroom is the son of CK Rangathan, who is the owner of Cavin Kare's CK Bakery.
