After Padmavati’s three big stars, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor revealed their looks from the film, it's now veteran actor Raza Murad's turn.
The actor revealed his look as Jalaluddin Khilji from Sanjay Leela Bansali's upcoming period drama on his Facebook page. However, the image was taken down soon after.
Murad will be seen essaying the role of the first ruler of the Khiji dynasty.

His towering frame and heavy voice has always made Murad a fit to play such characters.
This is not the first time that the actor will be a part of a period drama. Murad was part of Ashutosh Gowariker’s Jodhaa Akbar (2008) and was then seen in Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani (2015), where he played the character of Nizam of Hyderabad. However, as Jalaluddin Khilji, Murad is seen sporting a very different look.

The coloured red beard, furry robe, kohl-rimmed eyes, and the large turban on Murad's big frame make him look every bit like the 13th century Turkish ruler, who we’ve largely seen through paintings.
Jalaluddin was killed by his own nephew Alauddin Khilji (played by Ranveer Singh).

Meanwhile, apart from Murad the film will also see talented actor Jim Sarbh. In an interview to Cinestaan.com earlier, Sarbh had said that he has a 'sweet' role in the film. When asked about it now, the actor refused to comment.
Sarbh will reportedly play Malik Kafur, the slave-general of Sultan Alauddin Khilji.
Padmavati is set to be released on 1 December.
