Rajinikanth shines in gold, Akshay terrifies with his eyes in new 2.0 poster

The makers of 2.0, sequel to Rajinikanth’s Robot (2010), have come up with a spectacular new poster of the film. It also marks the announcement of the film’s music launch today in Dubai. 

The poster primarily features Rajinikanth and his leading lady Amy Jackson. The gold colour is the theme of this poster. The actors are also wearing costumes of the same colour. The ball of fire in the background has a powerful effect. 

A glimpse of Akshay Kumar at the back is quite exciting and terrifying. One can see his powerful eyes with enlarged eyebrows. The Khiladi actor plays the villain in 2.0. During the poster launch of the film last year, Rajinikanth had said that Akshay’s role is more interesting and important than his own. This statement has generated a lot of excitement for the first trailer of the film which will be released later. 

The music launch in Dubai is expected to be a grand affair and it will take place later in the day. The highlight of the event will be a performance by the musical maestro AR Rahman. 

2.0 is set to be released on 25 January 2018. The film will continue Akshay’s stint of releasing films on Independence and Republic Day holidays.
