Veere Di Wedding to be released on 18 May 2018: See poster

Director Shashanka Ghosh’s Veere Di Wedding will hit the theatres on 18 May 2018. The makers released the first proper poster of the film revealing the release date.

Actresses Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania will form the main cast of the film. From the poster and costumes, it looks like the marriage in the film will be a grand affair. The actresses are seen wearing festive white suits and turbans.

The four of them are seen having fun at a wedding. It reminds you of the latest selfie video featuring Sonam, Kareena and Bhaskar. The video sees Sonam abusing Swara in good humour.

Veere Di Wedding is a rare mainstream Hindi film to have an all-female main cast. The film also stars Sumeet Vyas, who will be soon seen in Ribbon opposite Kalki Koechlin.

The last film Ghosh helmed was Khoobsurat (2014), which also starred Sonam along with Fawad Khan. It was the official remake of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s much loved Khubsoorat (1980) starring Rekha.
