Actress Meghana Raj engaged to Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja

Actress Meghana Raj, the daughter of yesteryear actors Sundar Raj and Pramila Joshai, is to wed Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja on December 6 this year.

The couple got engaged in a private traditional ceremony at Meghana's residence in Bengaluru. The ceremony was attended by close friends and family members.

Meghana has acted in a number of Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam films including Kaadhal Solla Vanthaen (2010), Lucky (2012) and Nimirnthu Nil (2014).

Sources say the actress has made it clear that she will not quit acting after her wedding and believes her family will support her decision. 

The actress tweeted a picture of the engagement along with a thank you note to all those who showered their wishes and blessings for the couple.

She tweeted, "Chiru and I are overwhelmed by all de love and affection showered upon us.. Thank u 4 all the blessings and good wishes 🙏🏻 #Myloveforlife."
