While watching the trailer of director Ratnaa Sinha’s Shaadi Mein Zaoor Aana, one can hear bits of a romantic song in the background, just for few seconds. The song, ‘Main Hoon Saath Tere’, has now been released by the makers. And it has everything that a conventional Hindi romantic song would include.
Singer Arijit Singh has evolved as a specialist with such numbers. He puts his best foot forward on this occasion, too, and does full justice to Shakeel Azmi and Kunaal Vermaa’s simple yet profound poetry. Composer trio Kailash-Akash-Guddu (KAG) have delved into Nadeem-Shravan zone with the good use of drums in a romantic song.
Rajkummar Rao is, for a change, seen crooning a filmi romantic number. Skilful actor that he is, he lives up to the task. His chemistry with Kriti Kharbanda is impressive, too.
But the song does leave you confused. The trailer showed Kharbanda disappearing moments before their wedding. The two then meet years later in different circumstances. But the song is entirely based on their wedding and happy married life. Intriguingly, it doesn’t appear like a dream sequence either. The only way to find out would be to wait for the next song to be released or for the film to hit the screens.
