Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has played some great characters in his second innings, with films like Kapoor & Sons (2016), Love Aaj Kal (2009), Delhi 6 (2009), among others. He was particularly appreciated for playing the pimp Rauf Lala in the Agneepath remake released in 2012. The actor is all set to play a Muslim character again in Anubhav Sinha’s next Mulk. Kapoor shared his look from the film.
Kapoor’s character looks distraught and disturbed. Buzz has it that the film is based on a family that is mired in controversy. The attire, make-up and Kapoor's expression suggest that, perhaps, the family could be implicated in a terror plot. This, though, is a mere speculation.
However, Kapoor looks convincing in the new avatar.
“I have not done drama in a long time and when Anubhav narrated the film to me, I loved the concept of the film. Shooting in Benaras and Lucknow will be an added bonus, since I have heard such great stories about the cities,” Kapoor told ANI.
Apart from Kapoor, the film also has Taapsee Pannu, Neena Gupta, Prateik Babbar, Rajat Kapoor, in lead roles.
