Baadshaho broke the successful director-actor record of Milan Luthria and Ajay Devgn. The abrupt climax of the film was a major put off for the audience. There were unconfirmed reports about the actor not being happy with the way the film ended.
Now, Devgn has confirmed that he did have a problem with Luthria over the climax of Baadshaho. He also claimed to have fought with the director over it.
During a media interaction for his upcoming film Golmaal Again, Devgn said, “I fought with the director as well. We had shot for something else but I don’t know why he didn’t include that in the end.”
But that’s not all. The actor also had a problem with the promos of the film. “I had an issue with that because of the promotions of the film. After the first trailer, even the multiplex audience wanted to watch it. Then came the first song. Again everyone liked it,” he said.
However, he felt that the second promo that followed made a mess. “We went wrong with the material that came out after that as that is not something the multiplex audience wants to watch. It opened very well, but some things harmed the multiplex business,” added Devgn.
Baadshaho also starred Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D’Cruz, Vidyut Jammwal and Esha Gupta.
