Actor Anil Kapoor and producer-director Vidhu Vinod Chopra are all set to join hands after 23 years. The two last collaborated on 1942: A Love Story (1994). Chopra had directed the film which also featured Manisha Koirala and Jackie Shroff in lead roles. Before 1942: A Love Story, Kapoor and Chopra worked together on the critically acclaimed Parinda (1989).

The film that has brought them together after more than two decades is titled Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga, which is inspired from the superhit song from 1942: A Love Story.

That’s not all. Kapoor's daughter Sonam will also play a part in the film. This is the first time the father-daughter duo will share screen space in a film.

“Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga is a big project for us, and it’s a great thing that Anil is collaborating with us to make it," Chopra was quoted as saying on the news website DeccanChronicle.com. "In fact, both Anil and Sonam will be part of the cast of the film.”

Chopra did not, however, reveal any more details about the project. He is currently gearing up for the biopic on actor Sanjay Dutt, which is being directed by Rajkumar Hirani and has Ranbir Kapoor essaying the role of Dutt.
