Vaani Kapoor joins Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in YRF’s next 

At the end of last month, Yash Raj Films announced their next flick starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. The yet untitled film will be directed by Siddharth Anand. The makers have now disclosed that Befikre girl Vaani Kapoor has joined the cast. She will be playing a role opposite Hrithik in the film.

Speaking about her selection, Anand said in an official statement, “While the film is primarily Hrithik vs Tiger, there is only one girl in the film who is opposite Hrithik. I was looking for young and fresh energy in the casting and I have found that in Vaani Kapoor.”

So far, Kapoor has acted in Shuddh Desi Romance (2013), Aaha Kalyanam (2014) and Befikre (2016). Incidentally, all the three films were produced by Yash Raj Films. Aaha Kalyanam was the official Tamil and Telugu remake of YRF’s Band Baaja Baaraat (2010). The Hrithik and Shroff-starrer will be the fourth film of her career and with with YRF.

Anand added that he was impressed with her work in her two Hindi films so far. “I have loved Vaani as an actor in both her films and after meeting her I was fully convinced that she is the best girl for my film,” he said.

The film will see Hrithik and Shroff pitted against each other. The two actors made it loud and clear when they announced the film on Twitter last month.

Shroff had said, “Sir @iHrithik. You are my Guru. But you should know when the game changes. #HrithikVsTiger.”

Hrithik responded with, “A Guru will always have that one trick, he doesnt teach his student. @iTIGERSHROFF #HrithikVsTiger.”

The film is expected to be released on 25 January 2019.
