Rajkummar Rao is having a year to remember. The actor began 2017 with Vikramaditya Motwane's dark thriller, Trapped, before moving on to consecutive successes in Bareilly Ki Barfi and Newton. With a couple of months left in the year, the actor looks to be in no mood to spare time. The first poster of Ratna Sinha's Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana features Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda as the young couple in love.
The poster was released by the makers on Monday (9 October) evening, and features the lead pair standing on, what appears to be, a bridge.
The film tracks the story of a soon-to-be-married couple, Satyendra Mishra (Rao) and Aarti Saxena (Kharbanda). A drama ensues when Aarti decides to follow her dreams, putting Satyendra's idea of life into a quandary. The film, produced by Vinod Bachchan, is again set in Uttar Pradesh, which has become the preferred setting for several filmmakers this year.
As for Rao, his success in Newton, Bareilly Ki Barfi and Trapped has ensured a steady rise at the box office. The actor is currently shooting alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor for Fanney Khan. He will also be seen in Hansal Mehta's Omerta, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this year.
