Ishaan Khattar, Jhanvi Kapoor film to go on floors from December?

Director Shashank Khaitan said an announcement could be expected soon.

Jhanvi Kapoor and Ishan Khattar's film, which is rumoured to be the Hindi remake of Nagraj Manjule's superhit Marathi film Sairat (2016), will reportedly go on the floors from 1 December, according to Times Now news channel.

The film is being directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Dharma Productions.

When contacted, director Khaitan said, “I’m not allowed to reveal anything now. All I can say is that expect an announcement soon.”

Dharma Productions had obtained the rights of Sairat, and all along it has been rumoured that Karan Johar would launch Sridevi's daughter Jhanvi with the project.

This will be Jhanvi's debut film, while Khattar, who is actor Shahid Kapoor’s half brother, has worked as a child artiste in Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!(2005). Khattar’s debut will be Iranian director Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds with Malayalam actress Malavika Mohanan.
