Diljit Dosanjh, Kriti Sanon to pair up for director Dinesh Vijan's Arjun Patiala

Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh are two of the most promising talents in the industry. Dosanjh, who is a star in Punjab, made an impressive Hindi debut with Udta Punjab (2016), while Sanon already has a couple of hits to her name with Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017) and Heropanti (2014).

The duo are teaming up for the first time with Dinesh Vijan’s next that has an interesting title, Arjun Patiala.

Dosanjh made the announcement on his Facebook account, also posting pictures with Sanon and director Vijan.

Sanon too shared the news with a befitting tweet.

According to a source, the film will be an out-and-out comedy: “This is going to be super fun comedy film. Diljit’s character is called Arjun Patiala. Since Patiala is the largest peg, that is why the title. Arjun is a larger than life character.  The shoot is going to commence in February, 2018 and the makers are targetting a release in the same year.”

This is the first time Dosanjh and Vijan will work together, while the director has collaborated with Sanon once before. The actress was seen in Vijan’s directorial debut Raabta early this year.
