Parmanu set for 23 February release, KriArj Entertainment announces 2018 lineup

John Abraham's Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, based on the real-life nuclear test series conducted by India in 1998, will now be released on 23 February. The film was initially supposed to be released on 8 December, but moved its release schedule when Padmavati announced it would be released on 1 December.
The production company, KriArj Entertainment, headed by producers Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor, also unveiled their lineup for 2018. They are producing seven films starting with Padman, starring Akshay Kumar, which will now be released on Republic Day (26 January). February will see two KriArj film releases with Anushka Sharma's Pari on 9 February and Parmanu on 23 February.
The multi-starrer Fanney Khan with Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao is tentatively scheduled to be released in June 2018. Three more films produced by KriArj will be released in the second half of 2018. Shree Narayan Singh's Batti Gul Meter Chaalu, starring Shahid Kapoor, is tentatively scheduled for September 2018, while the untitled thriller by producer Vishal Bhardwaj and director Honey Trehan, and starring Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone is due to be released on 2 October.
Their final film of the year is Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath on 21 December. The love story will launch Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
KriArj Entertainment, which began their journey in Hindi cinema with Rustom (2016) and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017), have put together an interesting and diverse list of films lined up for the upcoming year.
