Honored to stand alongside powerful trailblazers: Priyanka Chopra on Forbes ranking

After Forbes named Priyanka Chopra in their 100 Most Powerful Women In The World list, the fans of the actress flooded Twitter with congratulatory messages. The actress herself tweeted that it was an honor to be ranked alongside the many women on the list.

The Quantico actress was ranked as the 97th most powerful woman in the world, in a list topped by German chancellor Angela Merkel, and included United States presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, and pop icons Beyonce and Taylor Swift.

Chopra was praised by Forbes as 'arguably the most successful Bollywood (Hindi film industry) actor to cross over to Hollywood.'

The actress' successful stint on American television with the series, Quantico, has been extended to its third season now. Apart from this, Chopra is also set to continue her Hollywood stint with appearances in two films, A Kid Like Jake and Isn't It Romantic?
