Ishaan Khattar wins Best Actor award at Turkey’s International Bosphorus Film Festival

Majid Majidi’s film, Beyond The Clouds, starring Ishaan Khattar and Malavika Mohanan, has won two awards in the international categories at Turkey’s International Bosphorus Film Festival being held from 17 to 26 November. The film also bagged the Best Editing award for Hassan Hassandoost at the festival.
Beyond The Clouds was the opening film at the ongoing 48th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.
Other major winner at the festival was Parviz Shahbazi’s Iranian film Malaria. It was named the Best International Feature Film, won awards for Best Director (Shahbazi), Best Screenplay (Shahbazi) and Best Actress (Saghar Ghanaat).

Karan Johar, the producer of Khattar’s second film Dhadak (2018), tweeted out his congratulations to the actor, saying, “Huge congratulations to ISHAAN on his very first Best Actor award! #BoÄÂaziciFilmFestivali ....so proud of you!!! And many more to come.....”
