Sandeep Singh biopic poster: Diljit Dosanjh faces the hockey legend

The teaser poster of the Sandeep Singh biopic was released by the film's makers on Monday, 27 November, morning. Featuring Diljit Dosanjh, Angad Bedi and Taapsee Pannu, the biopic will be directed by Shaad Ali.

The poster features Dosanjh sharing the frame with the real Sandeep Singh. While Dosanjh takes on the side profile, with a beanie, it is Singh's eagle eyed stare that really captures the intensity of the tale. 

The tagline reads 'Don't Let This Story Pass', which is an impressive pun on Sandeep Singh's feats as a full-back defender in the Indian hockey team. 

Taapsee Pannu starts filming for Sandeep Singh's biopic

Singh is the former captain, and current member of the Indian hockey team. A world-class full back, Singh, was known for his 'drag-flicking' abilities. In 2006, Singh was accidentally shot while travelling in the Shatabdi train on his way to join the Indian team. This left him paralyzed for 2 years, post which he made a stunning comeback to rejoin the hockey team.
