Vidya Balan's Tumhari Sulu is a hit. The film, which was made at a budget of Rs12 crore has gone on to earn a total of Rs23.75 crore at the box office in 10 days.
Suresh Triveni's directorial debut had a decent second weekend as it made Rs5.50 crore - Rs1.15 crore on Friday, Rs2 crore on Saturday and Rs2.40 crore on Sunday.
The postponement of the release of Kapil Sharma's Firangi (which shifted its release from 24 November to 1 December after Padmavati's release got deferred) definitely helped Tumhari Sulu stay steady. It has now become Vidya Balan's first hit in five years.
