Ratnam has compiled a multi-starrer cast that includes Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, and Tamil actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu, Jyothika and Aishwarya Rajesh.

AR Rahman's 25 year collaboration with director Mani Ratnam is not likely to end anytime soon. According to reports, the composer is currently in Goa, and has begun work on the soundtrack for the film. The film will have lyrics by noted Tamil lyricist Vaali.
Ratnam has compiled a multi-starrer cast that includes Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, and Tamil actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu, Jyothika and Aishwarya Rajesh. The film wil also have Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, and Arvind Swamy in supporting roles.
The daily, Times of India quoted a source saying, "Yes, Rahman and Mani sir are in Goa to compose songs for the film. Their schedule is all set to be wrapped up in a few days and the team is likely to begin shooting for the project by January, next year. The team will announce the title and the cast officially by this year end."

Mani Ratnam's collaboration with AR Rahman began with Roja (1992). The pair celebrated 25 years of their association earlier this year.
