While Prakash Jha was in the news for producing Lipstick Under My Burkha, the actor within him was busy at work. The Gangaajal (2003) director returns to acting in Mudassir Mashalkar's upcoming, Justaju. The trailer of the film released today.
produced by Nisha Sujan Malik, Justaju was showcased at the ongoing International Film Festival of India's (IFFI) Film Bazaar in Goa, on 22 November. The drama revolves around the life of a lonely man wandering through the city of Mumbai.
The trailer captures the solitude of the man (Prakash Jha) as he traverses the city's urban landscape scouring for an emotional connect with the people living in it. Witnessing a love story unfold at a railway station, or watching a child of a poor man long for an ice-cream, the trailer tugs at some emotional heartstrings.
