Brij Mohan Amar Rahe! trailer: Madness meets the absurd in this catch-22 drama

The entry of Saregama Music into film production through Yoodlee Films is one of the big changes in the industry this year. The music giant is now ready with its second film under the banner, titled Brij Mohan Amar Rahe! The trailer of this absurd comedy, directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, was released today, 21 November.

The film tells the story of the loser-ish Brij Mohan (Arjun Mathur) who is running from one debt-collector to another on a daily basis. His only escape is his love, Simmi (Sheetal Thakur), who is even more of a confused film buff than he is.

However, there is only so far the man can run from his own mess. One day, he decides to kill his current identity and invent a whole new one — Amar Sethi. Except, with the new everything, he falls into a deeper, darker pit.

The police now accuse Amar Sethi of killing Brij Mohan. He now faces a Catch-22 situation where he can neither reveal his true identity, nor escape the plot he has hatched for himself.

Brij Mohan Amar Rahe! also stars Nidhi Singh and Manav Vij.

The film is set to be released on 1 December.
