The trailer of Fukrey Returns shows promises of the film being an entertaining comedy. The first song from the film, Mehbooba, wasn't a very impressive remix of the Mohammed Rafi classic.
The second song from the film is a peppy, Punjabi dance number that brings in the celebrations for the quartet of Hunny, Choocha, Ali, and Zafar.

The song is set at Zafar and Neetu's (Vishakha Singh) engagement. The lavish celebration has all the four friends getting together. The song also features Priya Anand, who will be seen reprising her role from the first film, Fukrey (2013).
Written mostly in Punjabi, the song uses minimal Hindi words. This does not, however, interfere with any element of fun in the song. Jasleen Royal delivers a very good number, while eschewing the loud beats and remixed versions that have become regular.
Royal is accompanied by Akasa Singh, Divya Kumar Khosla and Akanksha Bhandari who voice the rest of the vocals.
While the song is not spectacular, it does have a mellow rhythm and a happy feel going for it. The vibrant colours on the screen and the choreography play well to the mood of the song and makes it worth a listen, and watch.
Fukrey Returns, directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, is set to be released on 15 December.
