Student of The Year 2 poster: Tiger Shroff is the new dude in Karan Johar's college

The first poster of Karan Johar's much talked about sequel, Student of the Year 2, is out. Featuring Tiger Shroff, the poster was released early Monday (20 November) morning by the makers, Dharma Productions. 

While there have been a lot of speculations about the cast of the film, it is certain from the poster that Tiger Shroff is at the centre of this college romance. Directed by Punit Malhotra, Student of the Year 2 is produced by Johar's Dharma Productions in association with Fox Star Studios. 

The actor is shown lounging on top of the title dressed fashionably in ripped jeans and a camouflage jacket. The actor also sports short hair as part of his new look for the film. 

While Shroff is set to take on one of the lead roles, there is no confirmation yet about the heroines cast opposite him. In July earlier this year, Bollywoodlife.com had reported that Chunky Pandey's daughter, Ananya Pandey, is among the frontrunners for the role. Janhvi Kapoor has also been one of the names suggested as part of the cast.  

Student of the Year 2 is a sequel to the 2012 hit, Student of the Year, which launched Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan in Hindi cinema.

Directed by Punit Malhotra, the film is set to be released next year in 2018.
